Huawei Morocco has proceeded, last Tuesday, to the signing of a memorandum of understanding with six universities in the region of Casablanca-Settat. These are Hassan II University of Casablanca, Hassan I University of Settat, Chouaïb Doukkali University of El Jadida, Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences, Mundiapolis University and the International University of Casablanca.

Through this strategic alliance, Huawei Morocco is committed to providing comprehensive and optimal support that aims to meet, with confidence, the needs of these institutions in important disciplines including Big data, Cloud computing and artificial intelligence.

The same source indicates that Huawei will also work, through the Huawei ICT Academy, to train instructors by offering them a suitable framework with quality professional development opportunities, allowing teachers to open ICT classes for their students. Note that this agreement is part of a range of programs that revolve around the development of ICT skills, and will be deployed at six partner universities in the region. As a reminder, Huawei ICT Academy was launched in Morocco through a strategic partnership between Huawei Morocco and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technology.and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, with the aim of equipping students with ICT skills and helping them enter the job market. In this sense, some 5,000 students have been trained by the Huawei ICT Academy and over 1,700 have been certified.
