ARISE IIP, the pan-African developer and operator of world-class industrial parks, has joined the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) as a corporate member.

Arise IIP identifies industrial gaps in African countries to unlock value and create new industries. The objective is to industrialize key sectors by creating local processing, maximizing production, efficiency and costs, which in turn generates local value added.

Arise IIP seeks to stimulate exports, enable local processing of raw materials, and promote trade by creating customized special economic zones in Gabon, Benin, and Togo. In Benin and Togo, Arise IIP focuses on creating value chains for the textile industry - from raw material sourcing to resource processing to manufacturing to the export of finished products.

By becoming a corporate member of ITMF, Arise IIP will benefit from a unique international network, ITMF's expertise and a global platform for the textile value chain where global trends are discussed.

"By joining ITMF, we have access to all the major players in the global textile and apparel value chain. The world is becoming more and more integrated. Therefore, cooperation along the global textile value chain and understanding its complexity and dynamics is paramount," said Rajaguru Raja, CEO of Arise IIP's textile division.

"By becoming a member of ITMF, Arise IIP enriches our organization with valuable expertise on the textile value chain in West Africa, a region that will play an increasing role in our industry in the years to come. Likewise, Arise IIP will benefit from a unique international network, the expertise of the ITMF and an international platform where international trends are discussed," said Christian Schindler, ITMF's Director General.
