The CRTE has signed for the 77 communes of the territory. The tool will allow the seizure of useful financing for the development of the Coeur d'Hérault, particularly for ecological objectives and those related to the energy transition.

Tuesday, the presidents of the three communities of commune of the territory, initialed the Territorial Contract of revival and ecological transition (CRTE) with Éric Suzanne, sub-prefect of Lodève. Certainly, it is a "contract of more, agrees the representative of the state. Except that, this contract probably has vocation to work on several mandates. It is an integrating contract which will be used in the long term, in a programmatic way, to attract financing...".

Not only funds from the State, but also from the Region, the Department or in response to calls for projects. As an example, "the "wasteland" fund will allow us to get out housing projects. These are things that did not exist last year", explains the sub-prefect.

An invitation to work together

"The CRTE is very important for us. It is fully in line with the territory project of the Pays Cœur d'Hérault", appreciates Jean-François Soto, president of the Pays and the Com com of the Vallée de l'Hérault. This CRTE should therefore make it possible to group together requests for subsidies.

"This contract integrates most of the major contracts of each of our intercommunities. I hope that it will bring us additional financial contributions", anticipates Jean-Luc Requis, president of the Com com of Lodévois and Larzac.

Claude Revel, his counterpart of the Clermontais concludes: "This contract allows us to have a global vision, it is essential. It also invites us to work together. Having a vision of the territory and integrating into the ecological transition is a priority for our three intercommunities and for the Pays."

A contract that has, among other virtues, that of federating the actors of the territory.
