The G5 Sahel Pandemic Support Project, coordinated by the G5 Sahel Executive Secretariat, is financed by the African Development Bank with US$ 20 million. The funding is intended to strengthen their response capacity and upgrade their epidemiological surveillance systems. He added that the project would also strengthen the operational capacity of the G5 Sahel Executive Secretariat and its five national coordination committees.
