France/Le Pouliguen. A partnership to raise environmental awareness

During the municipal council of April 9, the deliberative assembly voted a new agreement to be signed, between the City of Le Pouliguen and the association CPIE (Permanent Center of Initiatives for the Environment) Loire Océane.

The partnership set up aims to develop an incentive environmental policy and to organise awareness-raising actions for different audiences. Fabienne Le Héno, 1st deputy mayor, in charge of the Living Environment, the Environment and Citizenship, who made the presentation, recalled: " Itis a question, through concrete actions of animation for the general public, of raising awareness on the themes of water quality and the preservation of biodiversityThe aim is to raise awareness of water quality and the preservation of biodiversity, the effects of climate change on coastal erosion, in line with our commitments such as the Zero Plastic Charter, the quality of bathing water, and environmental labelling. The town undertakes to provide financial support for the implementation of awareness-raising activities.

The financial contribution of the municipality for the year 2021 is €3,582.
