DRC-France/Kinshasa: the commune of Ngaba and the city of Evreux sign a cooperation charter for development projects
The municipality of Ngaba will soon benefit from many development projects, especially in the field of sanitation. This is the fruit of the partnership that has just been concluded between this municipality of Kinshasa and the city of Évreux (France).
The signing of the cooperation charter between the two parties took place last Saturday, April 10 in Kinshasa, in the presence of the Governor of the city of Kinshasa, Gentiny Ngobila Mbaka, in the enclosure of the communal house of Ngaba.
In his speech accompanying the signing of this charter, the boss of the city of Kinshasa reassured that this charter will make the small town of Ngaba strong through various development projects it will benefit.
"From now on, there will be close exchanges between the city of Kinshasa and the city of Evreux, gateway to Normandy through this charter. The commune of Ngaba is going to develop and this contract aims more at the sanitation sector", said Governor Gentiny Ngobila, before expressing his gratitude to the mayor of Évreux, Guy le Franc, but also to all those who worked hard for the concretization of this agreement protocol in record time.
It should also be noted that this process was undertaken by Stéphane Mbaki, a DR-Congolese living in France.
Shortly before closing his speech, the governor of the city of Kinshasa urged the population of Ngaba to imbibe his vision of Kinshasa-Bopeto, in order to succeed this twinning. Also, the first citizen of the city informed about his measure aiming at banning the production and use of plastic bags, while recalling the damage of this product on the environment and the life of the Kinois, namely floods and erosions.
The occasion making the thief, the first citizen of the city gave a batch of kits of sanitation of Kinshasa Bopeto to the commune of Ngaba. Notably wheelbarrows, axes, brooms and boots.
