France

Between health, business parks, support for the local economy, renovation of housing and facades, the Community of Communes of the Perche is hardly easing up on its investments.

And projects in terms of economic development in particular are already emerging for the coming budgets. President of the Community of Communes of the Perche, the mayor of Nogent-le-Rotrou Harold Huwart (MR) thus evoked a "pause in investments" when he summarized, on Monday evening in Arcisses, the main lines of the 2021 budget of the community.

However, through the main budget and its four annexes, namely the school transport, Spanc (non-collective sanitation), business parks and economic property budgets, the Cdc du Perche will still devote €2,585,412 to its investments this year. Of which €1.4 million, i.e. 56%, will be spent on economic property.

Business real estate as a source of income

The president of the Cdc detailed: "It is a budget that reflects the developments carried out at the Authon-du-Perche health centre, the creation of the ophthalmological centre which already carries out 2,000 consultations per month, the purchase of a new building and the construction of a new office. It is a budget that reflects the developments carried out at the health centre in Authon-du-Perche, the creation of the ophthalmological centre which is already providing 2,000 consultations per month, the purchase of the Messesselle industrial premises where we will be signing a lease with Eurowipes next Wednesday, a contribution to the financing of the tourist and trade office, and the contribution of our community to the fund for the renovation of façades and housing for which we have already received 21 applications. Other projects are underway for the extension of Eurowipes, the work on the children's centre for young people to accommodate the municipal social centre, etc.

Health first

A line of investment that should accompany new extension projects in the coming months. "I have never seen as many industrial development projects as at the moment. This is the case on the Aunay zone, it is also the case on the Pape (NDLR : Perche eurélien business park) in Luigny, there are also projects in Authon and this is also what we are seeing in the Région", testified the man who is also the vice-president of the regional executive in charge of the economy.

In terms of health, the 2021 budget provides for an investment of €300,000 to air-condition the Maison de santé in Nogent-le-Rotrou. "Health professionals have told us about this request to improve their conditions of practice and the well-being of patients. New health professionals are also in contact with the Cdc to come and complete the offer of care", commented Harold Huwart.

"In this beautiful country that is France...

Among other important investments, the Cdc du Perche has budgeted some €314,000 for the study work of the inter-communal Local Urbanism Plan. This led the president of the Cdc to ask himself: "In this beautiful country of France, we are being asked to finance the studies for a plan that will subsequently constrain us in our future developments...".

In addition, the addition of the Cdc du Perche to the Very High Speed with the deployment of fiber optics is programmed to 56,150 €, the Perche ambition fund for the benefit of small businesses is evaluated at 60,000 €. Other investments such as the interconnection of drinking water networks in Saint-Bomer are also included in the 2021 budget.
