Benin/Presidency of the Supreme Court: Victor Adosou congratulated by his Chinese counterpart

The president of the Supreme People's Court of China has sent his warm congratulations to the president of the Supreme Court, Victor Dassi Adossou for his appointment and his assumption of office as head of the Beninese High Court.

The message of congratulations was handed to him, this Tuesday, April 13, by the ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Benin, Jingtao Peng. This, during an audience that the president of the Supreme Court granted to the latter at his office in Porto-Novo.
The Chinese diplomat, at the end of the audience, said he seized the opportunity to review the cooperation between the two countries in general and the two courts in particular. According to him, the relations between the two high jurisdictions concern notably the sharing of experiences and material assistance. This cooperation has enabled the Supreme Court of Benin to benefit in 2017 from its Chinese counterpart of a donation of audiovisual equipment to strengthen its communication service. Similarly, members and executives of the Supreme Court, for the mutualization of knowledge, have benefited from several trips to China. Jingtao Peng promised to accompany President Victor Dassi Adossou in his ambition to further boost this cooperation with new concrete projects.
