France/Twinning between Camlez and Griesbach au Val materialized

To inaugurate the twinning between Camlez and the Alsatian commune of Griesbach au Val, mayor Christophe Thébault, elected representatives and members of the La Schlitte twinning committee unveiled the twinning signs and Alsatian flag on Tuesday.

In his speech, the mayor paid tribute to the people behind this twinning initiative, which helps to forge bonds of friendship and encounters: "Two populations, two histories, two cultures, each with its own customs". To enhance the Alsatians' stay, visits were organized to the Zelmac café in the commune, the Vallée des Saints, Lac de Guerlédan and Bon Repos Abbey.
